WHAT?? You really need to take a look at this! Once you see the full potential of this place you'll surely want to talk management into a full time use of all the goodies this spot has to offer. Like many have mentioned, and to get a cure for some hacks that people so definitely want to fix... hot tubs are HOT! Pool is not too big and would get all the closeness, party vibe and call it what you want shenanigans... and it is just the perfect depth to showcase...aaaa...rubber duckies! The food is also at it's best and available poolside! Hope to read or actually hear your thoughts once you experience it.... please!
I really do need to go up there sometime! The first couple of times I stayed it wasn't open. Then we went for the grand opening party, but that was cancelled due to bad weather. After it opened, I'm a creature of habit and tend to spend most of my time around the Premier Bar. It's a long ass walk from there to get to the rooftop, especially with my bad leg meaning I can't walk very far. A number of times we've stayed in the Tower and been in the elevator going to the room and I've thought to myself we ought to go and see the sky bar but then realised it's already closed since it's not open at night. We are back in 12 days so maybe we'll make it this time. If only so I can say I have been there
The next time you up for a penthouse party @Steve ....up the ante and opt for the Sky Bar for a private event. Call it 'Studio Cancuncare"

We had lunch there two weeks ago and there was maybe 20-30 people up there but as soon as lunch was over I was ready to get back to the pool and fun! Nikki
We have not visited the skybar but by all accounts it is a very appealing area. We'll have to visit it next time. I love Nikki's idea of using the Skybar area as a party place at night however. It would really be great if they used BASH for several nights, then perhaps the SKYbar for one or two nights every week, complete with the open hots tubs and pool. That would surely get the party rolling, and it would be like visiting a different club! I love the idea of Fridays at Bash, then the Saturday night party at Skybar! Perhaps one night midweek would work as well. Since they already have a bar and sound system it seems they have everything in place to make it happen. How do we offer Nikki's suggestion to management?

We just got back a week ago. The sky bar was closed on Monday but it was open Tuesday and then the rest of the week during our stay. The view up there is gorgeous and the food is good as well. No, it's not where the party is at but we went up there for about an hour most days for lunch and the pool is nice and warm. The hot tub up there is also actually hot. lol There are 2 poles and some nice loungers but it is more the view and the food that brought us up there.
