In a recent review on another site it mentionned that the SkyBar is only open from Wednesday to Sunday. Anyone knows if this is correct?

Out main reason to book in the tower is to access the SkyBar as we wish and avoid the 20$ cover charge. If it’s only open a couple days a week the expense is not justified and we will just book a Plusg Jaccuzi instead of a Lush Tower.

    Thoughts? Experience?

    Cheers!

Well I dont 100% agree with that opinion. I agree the party is in the Sexy pool. Though the sky bar was one of our favorite places... loved the music, the escape and the food. We were there a Saturday to Wednesday and I was having trouble recalling the 1 day it was closed so was waiting for what others would say. Pretty sure that Monday it was closed but it was open on Tuesday. I think the tower rooms are worth it and the sky bar access is just one of the reasons.

Having been to TTR 3 separate trips since SkyBar was opened in early December, I.would say.....SkyBar is very cool and soo much potential....but it is not worth the xtra $$ for a tower room alone.

It is closed Mondays (was Monday and Tuesday at first)....and is 20.00 per day to hang out at.
It is a nice chill spot....and higher end booze.
    Great lunch menu.
    Nice pool and hot tubs.
But is only open 7 hrs a day. (11a.m. to 6p.m)
And it can get very windy up there.

And the music is loud and horrible.

So maybe gauge how much you even want to be up there.
Perhaps one or 2 days is enuff....and just pay as you go. (2 passes per day $40)

You all have valid points... more thinking to do I guess...

The tower is also interesting to us because it’s new... but is it worth it?...

We liked the Skytop alot one day spent almost the whole day up there. Nice to get away from the party for a bit. Had great time socializing with other couples up there. Great food, music was good not loud, and amazing views. I am a premier member so I didn't have to pay for it. But if you do make sure to spend time up there. Better then the quiet pool

Can't recall what day it was closed but it is a very nice spot to hang out at. Can get very windy at times but the view is worth at least 1 or 2 trips. It makes for a different party vibe than the Sexy pool... less people and a calmer groove but a very sexy place nonetheless. Food is excellent and available sitting in pool or hot tub, so the popcorn shrimps were a big enjoyment both above ... and underwater! ;)

Staying in the Tower it says that you get pool and beach butler service, is it worth it?

We think the tower is worth it but that is definitely not a reason. The butlers help you with reservations at restaurants but they are hard to find and we found them forgetful :( likely due to being too busy.

What did make the tower worth it for us...
Rooms are new and in our opinion nicer as a result. We didn’t have any major mechanical issues in our 3 trips there. We frequently had mechanical issues at the old TTR and see them still happening despite the reno’s based on people we met and trip reports.
    Access to Sky bar
    Convenience to bash
