Just looking for any recommendations of of resorts ANYWHERE that have a similar vibe as TTR? We like to visit difference places most trips; however, we DO plan on making a regular stop at TTR each year! Thanks
There are none. During the closure this question was asked a hundred times, people tried a few different places (Golden Parnassus, Oasis Sens, Breathless) but I'm pretty sure none went back to the places they tried. Most left distinctly underwhelmed and returned to TTR.
We went to Princess All Suites adults only in Punta Cana two years ago and the pool bar had a similar vibe two of the five days but it depended strictly on the crowd. There were a lot of Canadians and a big group of German football fans that all mixed well and the party got quite wild in the pool. They have poolside games as well but the playmakers are nowhere near as good as TTR in the games are not near as sexy, however there are a couple that got close. Pool closed at 5 PM or so and the food was not that good however the beach was gorgeous......except for the seaweed. There are still plans to have a TTR are in Punta Cana correct?
We have tried several other beach resorts, and have never found the fun similar at all. You can spend a fortune for nice, but not sure how you find fun. Nawlins obviously does not have the beach, but the fun can certainly be found.
Steve is right of course and has the experience, authenticity and straight talk we value and respect. You asked generally about "ANYWHERE"... so other places you may want to research might include the 10-day Fantasy Fest party at Key West Fla, a few places in Spain (eg Ibiza), Croatia and Cap d'Agde France. All depends on what's on your bucket list
Fantasy Fest in Key West can be fun and there are definitely adult parties and hangouts to be found. The costumes can be very sexy and quite amazing, along with the body painting. However, since it is in public streets what you will also get is about 5000 (or more) guys with a camera. If you're costume is very interesting or especially sexy it can become hard to walk down the street without getting stopped every 15' and asked if somebody can take a photo with you. Stephanie definitely knows about this. There are also occasional random kids with their parents out late, and it doesn't seem the best place for them at night. During the day we usually visited a beach or did a little sightseeing since the action mostly began in the evening. We much prefer TTR where it starts after breakfast. All in all, we certainly enjoyed many aspects of Fantasy Fest and would likely have gone back at some point had we not discovered TTR. When that happened it was game over.
