Hi, we will be there the November 1st - November 5th! It is our first time going to Cancun.

That is what I keep hearing. We can't wait! It seems like people go back multiple times.

 

But understand it is not for everyone.
Best to dive in and be friendly to most enjoy your time.
Of course you can hang at the quiet pool but folks are friendly there too.
More of a chill atmosphere that we usually enjoy a bit in the middle or towards the end of he trip.
Also be sure to check out the Sky Bar ( on top of Bash Tower) even if white band and having to pay the $20 each.
Well worth it for the food and views, along with a different more chill vibe.

 

We are very friendly. I am looking forward to the entertainment at the sexy pool! What does the white band at Sky Bar include? Do you have to dress-up?

Entertainment at the sexy pool is liked by some and not by others. Silly games.
The best entertainment is self made hanging out with other guests.

You are given a wrist band when checking in
based on room type...several different colors.
Premier members (those whom have bought in an purchased a contract) get a black band which gives perks like premium liquor, access to special menu items, specially marked towels, free access to the Sky Bar, etc.
Some rooms like Bash Tower get a blue band or other color if Master Suite or Penthouse.
If on a referral by a member you get black or colored band and are also treated as member.
Most, especially those booking first time or thru online travel site get a white band.
If white band perks are not available including free access to Sky Bar.
Was costing $20 each for the day.
Assume it is the same now.
Shy Bar has a bit different food via menu/waitresses, pool, 2 hot tubs, lounges, umbrellas, tables, seating, bar, music, sometimes via DJ, etc.
Like main Sexy Pool but much more chill.
Wear your bathing suite with cover up or dress anyway you like.
And most of all beautiful views all around!
