I appreciate your thoughts. I've definitely made it sound like we're a couple of sticks in the mud. We're not that at all. When we're at a resort, or just at a party were the last ones that want to go to bed. We try to find the fun people wherever we go. And I thought I made it clear that we didn't only want a 30 year old crowe, I just wanted to make sure there would be some! What we are is a couple who's been together a long time and very much needs to get out of our comfort zone. I am 100% certain she'd agree, and I think she'd be quite open to temptations of she didn'td think it's a swingers resort. Which by the way, I am well aware that it is not because I've done my homework, but if it seems like I am too focussed on that as someone suggested, it's because I know it'll take a bit to convince my wife otherwise.
Seems your wife is very set against the LS element. TTR is not a zoo or documentary of swingers in their natural habit like 'swim with dolphins"
Getting into my comfort zone is exactly why I'm heading to TTR for the second time. This time solo it looks like. For my "50" Birthday no less. Not very many places will allow a woman pushing 50 who doesn't feel a day over 30 wear sexy clothes, dance her ass off and be her fabulous liberated self without judgement. In fact it's celebrated. Being with sexually liberated, open minded, fun and friendly people of all ages is fantastic! It's not Caligula it's simply a break from the mundane, the routine and the limits everyday life puts on us. You can explore limits or have a lot of fun hanging out with others who are. I cannot wait to meet all the great new people I'll see in August.
First time we went was because in the past, we always went with a large group to other resorts. Told the wife i cant just sit next to the pool and read and play bingo for 9 fays. Wanted somewhere fun. Definately found it!! Quite an age span but didnt seem to matter. Wife was extremely nervous and top never came off the first trip. In the two times since, top has never been on! Its definately low pressure and do as much or as little participation as you wish. If its just you two, i highly recommend it!
You definately hit the nail on the head. I love this place for the fact you can dress sexy and have fun no matter what your age. And it is definately sexy reguardless of age! Too bad Temptations is just a break and not the way it is every day everywhere!
I think you're too way focused on your own thoughts. Why don't you have an open conversation with your wife? Impossible to go bad that way, but with the "surprise" factor you'll have a "surprise" outcome too.
If you don't think she would agree to go, then I wouldn't book it(unless you get the cancel for any reason insurance) until she does. Sell her on what the place is and how you think you would both enjoy it and then go from there. I wouldn't ambush book a place like this as it could easily be misconstrued and backfire.
Why not let you wife in on CCC, read all of the threads that seem interesting and then decide as a couple? As far as age, you will have a hard time determining who is what age.... There are 60 year olds that can drink and look like 30 year olds (and maybe only have 5 year old chests ) and vice versa.... Find people you click with and enjoy!
