we went to Breathless last month...and as bad as the TTR DJ's are (and they are very very bad) they are still better than the ones at Breathless...talk about a soundtrack to slit your wrist too.
Ok Kyle, I recognize some of it as EDM from I suppose my own definition. As we know music genres all appear to be mixed and so many artists cross over now days. The remix stuff really complicates things. And although ok with me it is repetitive. But as others have written, used in the correct way tobuild the energy it works. I cannot say I hate it but if it is blared by the DJ so loud that it is hard to hear and converse it is a non starter for me...but same with any other music. But some of it, for instance, like the first, Coldplay/Chainsmokers has thrown me for a loop! I need to investigate the denotation of EDM as my conotation so to speak may not be correct. Im all about learning and continuous improvement. Thanks!!
OMFG kill me now .........There used be a show years ago on much music on a friday . It was a friday dance party thing . Lots of naked navels etc . This is just like it . One tune overlade on another on another on another . Slitting your wrists is to slow to get away from that “music” ???????????
Thats it Electric Circus ... AKA the Naked Navel Show .......the cameraman had an uncanny habit of focusing on multiple girls gyrating naked navels for most of the show .
I was there in March and was at the skybar 3x. Loved it up there and the music. A singer was performing one afternoon and she was fantastic.
Hope to experience this end of Nov/Dec... as well as the members diner up there! Would really make our next trip worth the buy-in!
