I wish someone could give me an example of an EDM song they heard played at TTR at bash over and over again. Here are some of my non EDM song examples they play at TTR over and over again... (following posts as I copy and paste from YouTube)
Don Omar - Danza Kuduro ft. Lucenzo Luis Fonsi - Despacito ft. Daddy Yankee Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines (Unrated Version) ft. T.I., Pharrell There are some examples. Played every night in April at Bash. Sometimes twice.
that's awesome! I don't understand the play list when a DJ is there. The few times we went to bed before the music stopped we knew when the party was over by what song was playing.
I am sure I will be able to provide a full music report after my trip at the end of May. I know many classifications of music. IMO to the average person "EDM" is simply described as anything overly electronic/techno that would most likely be played in a club with little to no lyrics. Not necessarily the same thing as Top 40 pop, or Latin hip hop (which is overly played at TTR). Most people don't like any of this played excessively, so it's all just considered crap and put into a EDM/club/dance bucket. It all gets to me by night 3.
My wife doesn’t want to go back for a while with the repetitiveness of the music this trip being a primary reason. Night 4 we lost it. So yeah this is a sensitive subject for me ha. She doesn’t like EDM to the degree I do so this isn’t about more EDM. She is more of an old school hip hop type. Just had enough of the same 20 songs every single night. I dislike country. But would of loved to hear it one night for a change if it meant people would party, have fun and get naked ha Variety is key to TTR on many different levels.
I would be happy if he just built and hit play on a different playlist each night of the week. What would that take? 5-15 mins of work a day?
And the music really sucks at SkyBar.....drives people away. Endure the torture of the infuriating music just to eat from that awesome menu and then get the hell outta there. Eat and Run...very fast And it is so friggin loud! It is the worse when DJ Pablo is working SkyBar. I swear he is trying to make Sexy Pool hear his tuneage. He must use Spinal Tap's amps. The guy knows no volume control DJ Manuel not as hard to take
