I don’t know what EDM they are playing when you are there but they played very little EDM at bash during our August or November or April trip. One night during November on the neon glow Saturday night (I was in heaven) before going back to the standard playlist and one night in April, oddly enough not on the neon/rave night (which only had the standard playlist this time) but instead on bedroom bash night. Every other night was the standard playlist... think pitbull, shots/shots/shots song, desposito, robin thicke song etc End result is I don’t think we have the same definition of ‘EDM’
It seemed to me when the EDM style music was playing the dance floor would clear out but when they played some 90's 2000's hip hop and pop type music it would be packed. Don't get me wrong I don't hate EDM it just gets old to me. But this debate will be here forever. So as long as the ladies are half naked I am happy.
Yep agree re ladies half naked and happy ha. My point is more around there is no EDM on their standard playlist. So when you say you dislike or it gets old re EDM ok I understand, different strokes for different folks. But when you say ‘EDM crap all night every night’ and then how it clears the dance floor I wonder if you are defining EDM differently as like I said before it is rarely played at Bash. So can’t be a ‘every night’ thing. If you go up to the sky bar during the day that is EDM and in our 3 trips there we never heard the same EDM twice at the sky bar but did hear the same pitbull, shots shots shots shots, despecito, blurred lines, etc at Bash nightly which isn’t EDM
Maybe I am getting my definition of EDM style music wrong. But when we were there they played a bunch of rave style electric music or so it seemed to me anyway.
I guess it is possible as during August and November they clearly were experimenting some nights (still most nights a standard playlist especially w November) but in April it was almost entirely back to a standard playlist with the examples I provided above. One night I started writing down the songs I was so frustrated. Then, thankfully, I got distracted by someone grabbing Mr Happy and I came to reality and thought what the hell am I doing writing down the songs while at TTR and quickly reprioritized. Ha
