Re the tipping. We experienced this too Donald. At times at Bash it was almost necessary to have some bills in your hand to get attention. They are busy for sure. You will definitely get drinks. But bills in hand, even a dollar or two, seemed to really get them moving in your direction. Same as most bars I guess. Just supply of bar tenders vs demand seems to be more out of wack then it used to.
I am really hoping that they see how busy April was and learn some lessons for May, cause now things are really going to start picking up.
I take an over the door shoe holder on cruises and works amazing. I took it to TTR with us and it was a no go since the doors go all the way up to the ceiling and there was no where to hang it.
Bash,,,,, went to bar to get drinks a lot faster and if mixed drinks you can watch ,, roof top was the worst , not busy , but what appeared to be new waiters ,, a lot of lost lunch orders .
Not sure if this is a “hack” or not. But people keep talking about short ladies being submerged, figure this might be an interesting assistant.
Don't forget the extension cord for your AC powered toys, otherwise you'll be stuck laying on nightstand!
The AC is really weird. Our room never seemed cool. Then, late in our trip, we were told that there are motion detectors in the room that shut off the ac when they dont detect movement. Sure as shit, there are, and they do. We stuck some paper up next to them that blew in the breeze from the ac and voila, problem solved
I always bring Tide travel packets to wash swimsuits, travel size dish soap & sponge to clean cups, and extra sunblock (it's really expensive on-site)
