We are returning to T T R on the 7th May until west..with a 3 day interlude at Desires. This will be our 4th visit ..We were over in October for Grand opening and generally loved the changes, but did hear some worrying anecdotes about Bash Tower rooms. This time we have booked Bash rooms purely based on Nespress machine! Has anyone been recently to confirm those teething issues (no hot water etc) have been resolved. Also the sky bar wasn't complete..any thoughts? Final question the DJ in November was dire same play list every night ..has that improved been fed back? Other than that Food was fab and playmakers were great and cannot wait to go back..Anyone else going please say hi!
Bash Tower rooms are nice and worth a stay atleast once to see if you like them. Stayed on 5th floor Sept30-Oct7. Just returned from Apr7-17 but returned to Gardenview room. Most of the kinks that were have now been remedied. No issues with water and AC, etc. Sky bar is complete and open. Worth a trip up to see it even if a white band in non tower room and having to pay $20 each. Nice bar, pool, hot tubs, and lounging areas. Nice place to chill a bit. Food is good. Try the shrimp tacos, shrimp poppers, and mini burgers. The views are spectacular. Cannot help with the DJ and playlist at Bash as it seemed redundant each night. As far as the playmakers only 5 of the 14 from Oct remain. Others all gone for various reasons. For entertainment at Bash at 10 each night they bring in various acts in addition to the male and female dancers. Hope this helps.
Sorry...Im terrible with names but remember faces and bodies. We did notice some of our favorires from Oct were gone. I think Lollipop (Argentina) told me that only 5 of the 14 original remain...but could have been Laura from England...a real sweet and beautiful girl. JJ still hosts pool games. I think the other girl from Argentina but cannot remember name??? There is a blond girl but name ??? Two Younger men with longer brown hair...good beer chuggers. Peter seemed to only be around in the evenings. Mini Cooper from Cuba is new as of just before Christmas. Dont know about the entertainment dancers...if they are playmakers or not...5 girls and 3 guys.
One of the guys told me Mini Cooper is not actually from Cuba. They said he is actually from Mexico...they just say Cuba.
Father from Cuba. Mother from Mexico. Born in Cuba. Has been in MX for about 14 years. Had a few conversations with him. One long one. A real nice guy.
One of the long haired guys names just popped into my head...Zach from US (I think). He is the one good at chugging beer and helps Mini Cooper with beach and quiet pool volleyball.

Pedro told us that instead of rotating shifts some of them only work days and some only nights now. He is only nights he said. Zach we only saw on days so assuming he is days. Hopefully that is better for their longevity. After so many left earlier this year he said mostly due to differences of opinion. Interpret that how you may. And Laura we mostly (maybe entirely) saw during the day. And lollipop at night.
