Bash at 9:30 is no fun.
And pj night is just not it.
    What a let down.
Especially since we dont own any.
Each time I ‘splain this to security that although we are nakid we are in out pj’s they cannot understand.
Real party doesn’t start until midnite and runs til 3-4.

Still to early to commit. Becky's school district has not finalized the calendar for next year yet. Every year they talk about getting rid of the Feb. break so every year we have to hold our breath.

Somewhat, but personally I think in a good way.

I love the "home team jersey" feeling you referenced with how things used to work. If you saw someone dressed up, you knew they were part of CCC. The flip side of this, however, was that if there weren't as many CCC people around or participating, then it was pretty sparse. The nice thing with the resort taking on and promoting a theme each night, and many of them being fun themes that CCC used to do, is that you have much greater participation. I think this is important given the larger size of the resort now, as otherwise you'd run the risk of participation seeming really sparse.

When we went in September, it was a bit weird. The resort had a few too many questionable themes (like mexfest). On the flip side, CCC had a theme for EVERY night. What this meant is that you got really disjointed nights where you had some people not participating, some people doing the resort theme, and some doing the CCC theme. It's not like it wasn't still a great time, but it was just a bit weird to show up in one or the other and find most people opposite of you.

I'm looking forward to the trip in May in terms of themes, because it seems they've hit a nice balance. The pretty typical popular nights...lingerie, glow, heaven and hell...were left alone with the CCC theme just being a match to the TTR theme. Some of the more questionable ones (Throwback, PJ's) is where the fun CCC themes that the resort doesn't use got placed (like ABC or School girl, etc). To me that seems like the perfect mix.

All in all though, it's just basically comes down to people participating. Doesn't really matter WHAT theme it is...if more people participate, the more fun it is in general.

If they want to keep PJ's, they should seriously make it "PJs and Undies". If people want to do PJs, cool deal. But also gives a slightly more naughty alternative onto the theme that still kind of "fits". And bra and panties or boxers is still a bit different from "lingerie" to make it not be just a rehash of that night.
