We havent been to Temptation since 2015 and are lookin super forward to makin up for lost time next February (Ya, we are booked and ready!!!)

Prior to the renos, CCC themes were amazing. It was great to show up to Patyo's and be able to look around and see all the others participating in the CCC theme and have that instant connection. Not to mention the fact that people that werent part of the forum had no idea what was going on and thought they missed somethin which was always fun too.

Is it a lot different now?

The resort themes seem to be better for the most part (PJ night though??) and now that the resort is bigger i am guessing that CCC peeps dont quite takeover like they use too. And by that im simply talkin numbers....not awesomness

Curious if people still like the idea of CCC specific themes or does it make more sense to go along with resort themes now?

Again, We love the themes more so for how it brings us together with the CCC peeps. Its like running into someone wearing the same home team jersey on the other side of the world. You have never met them before but you have an immediate urge to talk to them and get to know them. Not sure it would be quite the same feeling in that sense participating in resort themes.

I believe the theme takeovers, meaning not sticking to the “official” TTR themes each night, are more from the various groups (such as April Addics, Octoberbreast, Hellraisers n Hotties, Shit Show, etc) that happen to be on CCC, FB Temptation Cancun Community, or their various webpages, etc.
    Some also add day themes.

Yes been at TTR since last Sat AM and leave this coming Tues late PM.
It has been totally mixed all week with many different groups and themes, some following TTR, some just doing their crazy standout thing, some just dressed normally since they are not on CCC nor FB and maybe first time here.
By advise is to do what you want!

In March, which is usually Not a good CCC turnout by the way, we did have a theme night thread, and the themes Did have some response. Converting White Night into CCC White Dress Shirt & Heels Night was pretty good, and as usual, it converted some other ladies into the theme as the night went on. Contrast that with the Pajama Night, for instance, which literally had One couple participating, for about 10 minutes. Pajamas? Really? A second lingerie Night would be way more participated in, I think. But I don't ownt he place so...

We always do the themes. They're lots of fun and usually very sexy. But as John suggested, most regulars avoid March because of the spring breakers. It's definitely not the same party then. They don't get it and tend to think it's your typical Cancun, CocoBongo nights, spring break type of place, where every 20 year old, "I just passed my Humanities 201 class", finds their way to Mexico to celebrate their presumed stellar accomplishment. Luckily that doesn't last long. After that it goes right into April Addicts and then it's GAME ON again!

We made it back to the Shit Show this year and had a great time. We did a mix of resort themes and CCC themes. Our outfits were a lot of fun, but we will have to figure out a new plan for next year. Here are a list of the problems.

    1. CCC- We had a lot of problems coming up with CCC themes that everyone wanted to use. With two weeks to go, people were changing the theme ideas. In one night I counted 4 different themes including the resorts. Shit Show lived up to its name.
    2. Resort themes- They are better, but they never change. They base their nightly shows off the themes. PJ night does suck. We tried to make that an extra lingerie night.
    3. Overall participation is under 20% most nights. Bash is twice the size that Patty'Os was. When you combine the larger club and much lower participation, the special vibe of themes every night has lost a lot of it's mojo.

    How to fix things:
    1. CCC folks and FB followers all need to be on the same page. greater numbers of people all doing the same thing will help fill up Bash with crazy folks.
    2. CCC and FB needs to continue to grow. The new TTR has a lot of first time guests. If you only have 20 people, spread all over Bash, in theme night costumes, they will never know about ccc and never join us the next trip.
    3. CCC- when picking themes we could try to somewhat match the resorts, but maybe just tweak them a bit to suit our level of Shit Showness.

The vibe all over the resort is less crazy then it used to be. We did our best to make things crazy and of course we had a great time, but it will take a major group effort to rebuild the crazy adult spring break vibe that we all know and love!

Thanks so much. Thats exactly what i was curious to know and hear. Seemed like things were kinda all over the place. Obviously my end game is in prepping for the next shitshow but i was hoping to get a general idea as it seems like themes are definately changing/evolving with the new resort and it would be relevant for all months.

Thanks a lot for the first hand info. Cant wait to party with you all next year....only 10 months away. Still too early to commit, lol??
