And thank you and all the folks for your dogged diligence scouring for great deals, becuz us and many others make a path up the stairs and force Original to match the sale prices and still receive all the added perks. So you are doing the work and we benefit. So thanks for being you As far as contacts....Steve is on another planet with number of contacts. In the span of less than 9 months he has managed to harvest way more 'dividends' than most mere mortals
Thanks @Steve for tactfully addressing the MLM thing. For some reason MLM comparison made the hackles stand up
Yes When we bought in years ago....we were automatically upgraded that day. However we had already booked and paid for our next trip. Couldn't do anything about that. But when we next checked-In ...we were treated as members and given the members bands from Norma. Damian tended to anything we required We still got the 'one cat. up' upgrade as well. But we didn't pay members rate and the number of nights didn't ount against our contract.
We are booked for the end of October for a week. $168 a night US with the cyber sale. We use air miles so our cost is around $225 round trip. These prices are totals for both of us. I can't find anything close to that on the web. Being a member does have benefits. Not trying to start a battle, but someone asked for numbers .
Halloween Week has always been a cheap week for us. Some of the reason we made it annual trip was how affordable it is as members.
Does that $168 include the AI fee and what you've already paid up front? Just curious. In January, we paid $224 pn for April 14-21. Thats the most we've paid in 8 trips since 2012 (2 trips were on Referrals). We also use air miles and this trip it covered all but around $100 bucks of it. So looks like we are into this trip for about $1800. Still not too bad IMO.
