You got the wrong idea. Hate those idiots. My team is not making the playoffs this year. Although they could've, but it would've been one and done....so elected to start rebuilding process early. Waiting for the draft. 3 picks in 1st Round! And lots of money for FA.
Becuz this is a hockey thread and small town junior hockey is a vital part of the grass roots of the sport, and a horrific heartbreaking trajedy happened in Humboldt, a lil over 24 hrs ago, I want to send condolences to the grieving families and friends of those young athletes in their time of mourning. It is surreal that it has happened again, unfortunately worse this time, in the same province, to a team with the same nickname. Prayers to Saskatchewan on such a sad day. To paraphrase T. Sheldon is a testament to staying strong thru hard times. His presence will help the healing process. And he has a good name as well.
Funny.....are you a Sabres fan? We had season tix and they finished second to last or last in each of the years. We didn't even get first draw when we were last, that's how bad our luck is (would have been McDavit). Gave them up this year and they are still last (so it wasn't us!!) but they had the balls to raise each seat price $1000.00 (we had 4)....two years in row!! We finally said "enough"!!!
