Funny to re-read this Q&A and have some of questions de-mystified by having been there a few times since opening. Mario Cruz was very good with his answers. Strong media training is evident.
Yeah I would say that it was all pretty accurate. I guess the one thing that stands out to me is the heated pool comment. I am sure some of the people there recently would disagree it's heated. It seems to be one of the main complaints and is always inconsistent. But I guess that discussion will pretty much end starting now until December. One thing again pointed out from the original post that doesn't really make any sense is: If the silver apple was the old thematic emblem, what will be the new one. ---We already have our new apple, and it can be silver, gold, black or white! (does the DJ apple booth change colors? that's all I can think of)
It sure seems like it is heated. When we were there, I could definitely feel warmer water coming out of the jets, and other people have said the same. It sure would be interesting to here someone from management give some sort of explanation of their expectation of pool temps. I wouldn't think a 4.5 star hotel wouldn't leave people in the dark on such a thing.
It did not feel heated in early October. We had a few days of overcast skies and I have never shivered in a pool more than I did this past trip. It was also the worst weather that I have seen and we’ve been going that week for a while. I’m not sure if it was the weather or the pool but I was cold (and I’m Canadian) Nikki
Winner winner Dude! The new Apple is the D J booth! It can be programmed to any color We suffered thru No Water, then nights of stone cold water, so that an army of workers could finish that damn apple. It was Job #1 And it was a majestic moment when it was lit up in all its glory for the first time. Felt like Times Square. We were proud, that we felt like we were camping and we were fulfilled to have sacrificed our infracture woes to help in the struggle all for the common good of the Apple.
It's kind of like the same thing with Fireball at the resort. "Do you have Fireball?" "Yes, unless we run out." Which they did pretty quick during our stay.
We were there in February and I couldn't stand to be in the water for more than watching the beer drinking competition. I just sat with my feet in the water, since my goosebumps were sticking out further than my nipples! lol! For sure didn't ruin my trip though, like it has for some people.
Same! It definitely didn’t even come close to ruining our trip and I didn’t even complain about it but the pool was cold. There was one day we left the pool and went up to the coffee shop to get coffee/baileys to warm up for a bit. If anyone knows me I do not leave the pool until i’m rushing to go somewhere lolll Nikki
I can't stand being cold in a pool but I'm sure my nipples sure put on a good show. I've noticed that all I have to do is just drink more and suddenly I'm not so cold anymore lol
