I bought my hubby 2 pairs of these leather loafers (black and white) direct from China for $24 each on eBay. No need for socks, and won't look too stuffy with his linen pants while meeting the closed-toe dress code. They are super lightweight, which is important when you are packing size 12 shoes. Leaves more suitcase weight for all my stuff! ;)

One post above says the Italian restaurant is now requiring pants (I'm assuming in addition to Sutra and SHE) and another post below it says pants are required for dinner at ALL restaurants besides the buffet. Can anyone tell me which is it? Just needing clarification for the hubby, we started packing our suitcases yesterday and want to make sure we have all we need. Thanks!

Yes to all 3! You might get in at Flirt in the the evening with dress shorts, but from the lady's stand point, all the trouble they put themselves through to get all dolled-up and sexy and so beautiful, it's the least we can do to take 5 min to put on nice slacks and shirt. The looks you get from the wife (and sometimes, other ladies) is worth the effort.

If you're worried about being too warm, the ACs are blasting quite hard...even a little too much for the scantily clad ladies. A vest or bolero might be a good idea ladies if ACs tend to bother you. Had to run back to room one nigh to get mine cause I was freezing at Sutra

While I accept a lot of people are from warmer climates than ours... I would never allow my hubby to go for dinner in shorts!

He always wears trousers on the flight anyway, and always for dinner, wherever we go... and shirt!!!

If my outfit for theme, is unsuitable for dinner, I still dress up for dinner!

...so... I'm wearing sexy dress, killer heels, and made up....

But it's too much for some guy's to wear more than shorts?

Different culture here though... no judgement, but it is nice if guys make an effort too...

I just continue to not understand the statements like "If your wife is getting dressed up, you should wear pants and show effort" How does having material from my knees to my ankles make someone more dressed up than someone else. It seems like just an old school way of thinking to me.

So if I wear some wrinkled "slacks" and unpolished dress shoes and a button-down, I am more dressed up then someone in a put together outfit consisting of dress shorts, dress shirt and modern styled closed toed loafers?

Who is more dressed up for dinner at Temptation?

But come on they have pants and collared shirts on?
