You should pack a couple of them anyway... I said that once! I said it to the point I would even get angry when he brought it up... I was pissed that he booked a vacation to a full clothing optional resort without my permission, and if he ever thought I would be naked on a beach, or even a thong... he had another thing coming! We got there and I was standing in a towel when a knock came on our door... mid happy and exciting conversation with a girl we just met from the group we were in (but had gotten to know through forums such as this) and he threw me a suit to quickly throw on... I threw it on as I was talking and she was tying my top strings... he asks me if I was ok as he threw me a sarong, and I say: “yeah, why?”... and then I looked behind! I scowled (or growled... I don’t remember) at him, then laughed and thought “meh!”, and was done with it... only time I wore a regular suit after that was to eat, walk the beach or go into town! Had the time of my life! ...I have to admit, I didn’t know what this resort was going to be like when I did my shopping, and I may be overdressed this time around, or wearing the same suits in rotation!
i didn't hear about closing the hot tub, there's no way my wife was getting in it so we were usually eating by the time it emptied out
The best time for the hot tub in my opinion is after you are done partying at Bash...when we went in October it didn’t close at all (or if it did it reopened after dinner). So after Bash you could go hop in and hang out there for a while before heading back to the room for the night. It was, at the time at least, an alternative to no longer having a sports pool open all night. I imagine the hot tub in July won’t be quite as refreshing as it was in October, but still better than nothing if it reopened later at night.
Said every penguin everywhere! Haha! Last week it was freezing. Compared to the atmosphere of our previous 6 trips, the sexy pool seemed like an old folks home. Too big, not as much interaction as before, too cold, and less than 50% of the women were topless. Most of the time the seats at the swim up bar were open. Didn’t see one person doing body shots on the bar, etc. We still had a great time, partly due to having friends (TTR vets) who went with us/met us there.
Don't know of too many old folks homes quite like Temptation...but then again maybe they are gonna corner the 'Active Party Living Home' market with "TemptationTown" as I have advocated to management for years, just in time for us to move in full-time. But perhaps they have taken notice of Jimmy's LatitudeMargaritaville developments and see how damn lucrative us old people are to the bottom line.
Somehow, I don’t think there will be an issue with getting topless and interacting with the large April group being there! That’s the beauty of bigger groups... I can’t wait to meet everyone! ONE MORE WEEK!!!!!!!
Around noon on one of the days, the DJ played “Every Rose has its thorn” and “November rain” softly in the background at the sexy pool. Had me missing chinos and Sara 69.
Ya and...? Don't know of many retirement homes that play Poison or GnR! Or are you empasizing the softly part of your statement?
