We stayed in the tower rooms and we had free room service. Free roof top pool. Alcohol was fine for us. All our food and drinks were free we just had to tip.
I’ve jumped off a boat to swim and pee in the ocean with an iceberg not far away... yep. Pool should be just fine!
Well peeps, I'm sure I will get lots of love on my opinion of the pool but.... here I go! I sucks! It is cold, yes if I was there in the very hot days of summer I might be able to live in it but, I don't go there in July -August and I will not be either. It is way to fucking deep for me! But yes I'm short. Most likely after 8 trips to this place I'm not coming back. It isn't worth paying the price to see some great people. There is other places to visit and find good company without freezing my ass off and dealing with shitty "new" design flaws. TTF Long Time
That’s not good to hear...hopefully when we go in early May it’s a bit warmer. Is the entire pool too deep? I’m wondering if my wife and her 5’1” stature will drown or will she be relegated to sit on the pool edge the whole time?
In May it's very warm...very warm. The main part of the pool is all the same depth. However the area by the bar is raised, and lots of people party on the steps by there. Also there is a second tier that is shallow at certain edges. You can sit there or in a chair that is in the pool.
Same concerns here. Mrs. is 4'11" so we expect the new pool to be too deep for her. We will be bringing a floatie but I expect she will be spending most of the time by the shallow-er edges. Not loving the fact that the pool is now "off limits" to her... And the water better be warm by May, cuz I HATE cold water, which for me is anything below 85F or so...LOL
The cold water would definitely stop me from visiting in December, January, feb or March. Hoping by mid April it is fine. In early November it was fine. We have gone in May several times (of course at the old TTR) and it was always plenty warm so I have high hopes for April but of course worried that the larger pool will result in it taking longer to warm up
