Hey everyone, Was going to email the resort but figured why not ask yall since im browsing here anyway at work haha. We booked a trendy garden room for Apr 5th- Apr 9th. In looking at the new resort map I had a few Qs. 1. Are the trendy garden view rooms scattered throughout all 3 sections (Chill, Play, and Relax)? 2. Id prefer to not have a view of the street/ walls and prefer to be able to ppl watch from our room. Loud music doesnt bother us since were usually too drunk and tired from fucking that we pass out anyway. Are there any options within the trendy garden view label that you can see the sexy pool from? 3. Love us some balcony watching. Best section or numbers for that haha?
The garden view are scattered in Chill and Relax. The red section is most likely where you will be as a garden view. The orange is around the quiet pool(2nd and 3rd floor only), and some in the back are parking lot and other are view of the tower wall, but you could get these as garden view. (the physical location to stuff with these is pretty nice IMO) The blue section could be garden, but are mostly considered ocean. These are the only old rooms with a view of the sexy pool. (though some have an obstruction from the ramp). All areas could be great for balcony watching, but that's basically just complete luck. You are going at what I think is a very popular time, so it could be tight as far as how lucky you get.
Just to add a note about building "I". The first floor rooms have little to no view of anything. I would call them untrendy-noview rooms. The 4 rooms on the left side on the second floor (looking from the beach) look like they may have a view that is obstructed by the ramp. Hard to tell from just looking at them from the outside. Perhaps someone who has stayed in one of those rooms can comment. The good thing about first floor rooms is that you have very easy access to a bathroom from the sexy pool.
Been there twice, and booked for a third, and I didn't realize that the second and third floors around the Quiet Pool were in that classification. There are also some rooms facing the gym on the first floor of "Relax", are they in that group as well?
We had 1722 garden view in Chill from ScubaSteve's map on lower end of G section (second floor) and Bash music was ... bearable if yo wanted to sleep. As for seeing or being seen....perfect!!
Well I could easily be mistaken and don't know what they are officially classified as, but I know some over look the parking lot, and some are like you said facing the gym, and I was in a second floor one booked as a garden, but it was in the corner.
We had a trendy garden view....we we're in the bottom right corner of that map in relax. We had a view of the back of the building on bottom right side of map. There was also some parking lot and some main road. I don't think there is a way to get a better room in the same class. We booked on orbitz. The girls next to us were on a referral and had the same view as us.
