So we have a master suite in April. Which has a bar on the patio but with our previous two trips the bar was not stocked. Heard other people arriving and their bar had some bottles. Don't think we can count on that.

Wondering if anyone has bought bottles at the resort and what the price list looks like?
@Steve did you buy bottles for Jannets birthday party in the penthouse?

We typically bring a bottle of vodka and a bottle of wine with us in a protective pouch but last trip the bottle of wine broke and so did the protective pouch :(

We know about the options for stopping at walmart (I don't have time) and the duty free but really just want to know what options I have when I am drunk and start impulse buying bottles of fireball and grey goose :)

We did very little entertaining in the master suite the last two trips and want to change that this trip.

On every trip, Sean and I pack wine. I wrap it in bubble wrap (the kind with larger bubbles, not the wee ones), tape the bubble wrap in place, and then pack it in the middle of the suitcase surrounded on all sides by Sean's size 12 shoes. Have never lost a bottle yet.

I bring the bubble wrap back home and reuse it for another trip, as you should be able to slide the bottle out the top of the wrap.

Are premier members able to ask for an entire bottle of something? If so, we are going on referral, and could help you stock the bar that way :)

No they are not. Unless they have a special connection. We were on referral and had the master last trip and they basically just said we got 20 or 25% off (can't recall which) but we didn't know off of what price. i.e. 25% off a $100 bottle that should be $25 still isn't a good deal ha

Tip and Send your Butler to La Europea and provide a shopping list.
La Europea has an outstanding selectionn at acceptable prices.

Of course you can go yourself....it is across the street from Walmart.
There is also a La Europea off the Airport Highway, close to VIPs restauramt that you can stop at during transfer to TTR

Or break down and buy a membership and have a stocked bar written into your contract

Wait a second. If I buy a membership then my bottle cost will come to... add the cancun city tax, multiply the booby exposure fee, plus the document preparation fee, carry over the 1... $577 a bottle. No thanks :)

But yeah at Desire our butler went and bought us bottles, plastic cups for beer pong, ping pong balls after we lost them, rolling papers and jello. Haven't asked the butler at TTR yet for that type of stuff. I kind of get the feel though that they are juggling too many things and may be unwilling to go that far. But can't hurt to try.

I been given a bottle of fireball, but I don't think that is very common and I am not even counting on it again. What is much more possible is to just ask them to half-fill/fill your mug with something strait. One time we were at the premier bar and they set-up our group up with a bunch of supplies before they left for the day. We continued our party there for another hour or so with our own speaker and impromptu deck dance party.

We had our butler grab a bottle of vodka one afternoon because we ran out during our room party. I think it was like $28 for a bottle of Smirnoff, plus we tipped him pretty well.

For that price he probably went across the street, no way that was the hotel price.

Room party eh, never been to one of those.
