Yea we personally didn't like She...that much. It was designed to be a 2+ hour meal. Totally nice if you are looking for romantic down time. But after going 100mph all day, it's hard to transition into that (at least for us). After about an hour into the experience, half of the tables when we were there were in and out smoking and hanging outside and doing shots at the quiet pool bar. The food was good quality though, just could have used double of it all.
We werr there the very first night they opened in August and it was a huge disappointment. Wiated forever for food and eventually we bailed. it is pre-selected 9 course dinner We ordered drinks and got them.....but food? They had a shirtless guitar player and a dancer that played on the raised stage. It was intersting but kinda boring after a while. Every time a server came out of the kitchen, the food went to a differenet table. After 40 miins and no food at all we bailed. At Xmas, we tried She again. Mostly for Nastasha's sake. She is the belly dancer at She and is a beautiful amazing person. She is on the Ents staff and has other tasks, but she does love her She gig She worries that She may close if the bookings wane. The guitar player is gone and it is two female dancers now. The resto seems to have the kinks worked out now. It is not our type of food and we didn't eat all the courses. It is a long experience still. But Nastasha's warmth and beauty helps smooth over the antsy-ness. And BTW.....the Quiet Bar is closed at 6pm and is dark So no going out for shots nowadays And be sure to read the tasting menu for the description of each course. It is a hoot! (Your skin is like the chicken we are about taste) .....things like that Something lost in translation
As you know we were there the same night. Our food came quickly and you sending us shots definitely helped with any lulls in between (thanks). We really enjoyed the time away from the party just the 2 of us enjoying the food and company. Discussing the days events, plans for the evenings, ladies she wants to play with (huh? what? oh), etc. Our food seemed to come much quicker. Maybe it was the earlier seating. And hopefully they have the bugs worked out now. Tried things we would not normally try. Enjoyed the experimentation. TTR seems right for this. But totally get not the right place for those in a hurry. Shame they didn't keep the guitar player with the dancer. Seemed like a nice combo.
Wait WHAT? They are closing the quiet pool bar now that early. That was like always a place we met up for before and after dinner drinks (if we were going to any of the restaurants not in the tower). We also liked going there on the days when we refused to stop the daytime party, and we be at that bar until late in our suits. Are there no options available now aside from going to the lobby. WTF, first thing I have read in a while that has actually aggravated me.
Marshe, you are totally right. That beautiful belly dancer is something, and she has a just as beautiful personality. We met her at Bash one night and she was like, you got to come and try She and see me dance! We sure enjoyed the whole thing...not just the dance. Food, service, ambiance, decor and the whole show. It is a break from the day's partying and a cozy romantic dinner to get close to our love one. It's a good 2 hrs and it was well spent in our case. Like Jen&Kyle, the convers turned around what we saw, liked and where and what we'd like to try or see! So bottom line, t'was the start and middle of a wonderful evening for us. As for outside open bars after like 6 pm, we were very disappointed that all were closed. Kind of forces people to eat I guess so they can keep going for last stretch. Sorry for amping the aggravation ScubaSteve!
I have met so many great people there ,, really sucks ,, was a god place to wait for reservations and chit chat , was a gathering spot , will miss LULU and her Tequila shots
LU LU hasn't worked the quiet pool much over the last couple.of years. Before closing she was kinda stuck mornings in the buffet. Then they pushed and won the right to rotate every few weeks and she was nights at the alternative the week of Wrecking Balls. Then she was at DRM in the disco during shutdown.. At TTR re-opening she has been prdominantly at pool bar. Some weeks regular end and other.weeks at premier end. I think at Halloween she was at Quiet Pool...but she wasn't much happy about it. Or at least as thrilled as I thought she would be. She likes sexy pool bar nowadays and was there 3 weeks ago as well as at Xmas/NYE.
Natasha has become one of our all-time favs. She has a lot going for her and her future is very bright
Sorry to be the messenger on this Dude. But maybe as the spring and summer roll around they will change the hours. Bash opens at 6, and of course the lobby is open all day till 11:00 pm. With the hot tub at Bash jammed at 4 till 7, bash is the logical place to end the day post sexy pool or to meet before dinner plans.
Yes I remember it well Kyle. You 2 seemed to have an entirely different experience than the rest of us. That niight/dinner just tied into the rest of our worst day ever at TTR. You guys had many things go well for you. The rest of us were pretty steamed about things. No water, No A/C, No room for 9 hours after check-in, 3 room changes in total, room door wouldn't lock, no booze or power at first (I was first one served at premier tiki bar....greet Adnan, just me and him, hug, order a mudslide "No senor, No Vodka!" I look around, and hadn't noticed....he had no booze. "Are you even open" I asked. ""Si" he says......"OK....what do you have"I asked... "emmm ....Cerveza!" He says. "Okay ....Sol?" I say. "No XX" he says. He hands it to me. It is as warm as a puppy dogs belly. "ADAN! WTF?' I say. He's laughing amd says "sorry I have no ice or power for fridge...Welcome to NUuu Temptation" And we both shook our heads. The biggest pisss off that day/night, was after we left She....went to Italian, ate....then weird Bash party, lame as a Sandals resort. At some point I stepped away from our small crowd and went to check out the Apple structure that a dozen workers were intently working 16 hr days to finish (man it was top priority to get that damn Apple finished, to hell with water or a/C or any other of a host of infructure/safety problems) I checked out the strewn tools and materials around the Apple and tried to visualize what the finished work would look like. I lit up a smoke and lingeered by the Apppe to keep the cig's smoke at bay, looked out over the sexy pool, and turned to see the vista of the tower framing Bash. I leaned back against the glass partitioned wall on the edge of the Bash deck. And the whole fuckin' wall went over and if I hadn't thought fast enough to drop and hit the floor I would've gone over onto the Sexy pool deck and crippled myself or worse. None of the wall was fastened down and some sheets fell to the pool deck and shattered. I very well could of followed......security and management rushed over and checked on me...and I was not kind to them. (The next night that area was all cordoned of and flagged off) So that night at She, that @Jen&Kyle enjoyed was just a blip in our personal opening day nightmare
