My friends went there 3 times since the opening. First my friend went with her 6 girl friends. The next two times her and her husband want alone. They all loved it there. They are a little more modest and conservative, but I know deep down they want more(shit they hang with me all the time so you know they aren't sticks in the mud), just seem a little scared and intimidated. They had some stories of a few topless girls, and some bent over sexy dancing by the pool. They enjoyed it, and I am like "you guys sound like you love that stuff, and TTR there is even more of it". She's convinced it's too wild, I know better. Trying to get him to tag along partially on our next trip to show him the ropes, so that this way he can go back and convince his wife it isn't as crazy and LS as she is thinking.
Some people are deliberately slow to come around in their views and some never will for fear of losing control of situations. To be edgy around staid folks gives power....but when the stakes are raised, some folks become suddenly timid We have friends who are very social and overtly sexual and go to RIU's in Jamaica, Cancun and I think Varadero. They tried Hedo about a dozen years ago....and didn't like it at all and therefore rule TTR out as "not what we are into like you guys" And yet, many post trips they relate how far they pushed the envelope and revel in the raised eyebrows responses they created from others' at a fricken RIU. When I try to educate them...I get "we're not into that crazy shit like you read in the Trip Advisor reviews on Temptation. You guys must like it, but it sounds too much like Hedo" And we just shake our heads Big fish in a small pond syndrome
We have friends that have been wanting to come to TTR for about 4 years but just don't have the guts to do it. If you ask them what they want, they will describe TTR to a T, but for some reason, they have this idea that it's just one big husband swapping orgy 24/7. (even though I told them that only goes on 12 hours a day!) So, they're going to Breathless RM instead. I can't wait to hear the story about when one of her tits almost fell out of her bikini!
We had 2 middle aged divorced guys last month at TTR, looking like stunned stags, ask us about 3 or 4 times over the first 2 days they were there "So WHAT goes On here?" I guess our intial answers weren't jiving with their imaginations. So the last time they asked I figured I gotta placate them somehow because they were becoming pesky with the same question, so I said... "You gotta be part of the loop to know the real truth here and you guys are not trustworthy yet. If I tell ya the real scoop then you will go and put it on social media and then we end up with dumb rubes coming here. But an example for you is, whenever there is a 2nd full moon in the same month...regulars all know to book TTR...becuz it is Fuckarooney FuckFest at Bash. Just show up naked armed with condoms and lube. But don't go putting that on FaceBook or anything" The one guy was unsure to believe me, the others' I thought his head might actually erupt. 2 full moons in a month eh, I gotta remember that, he said, so that doesn't happen very often?
Sometimes it fun to be the only one dressed like a slut at those resorts. I enjoy the stares I see behind my sunglasses. That's part of the fun for me!
