I have been hearing that the new pool is quite deep. Is this just an exaggeration or is it actually an issue for the vertically challenged?

Ya after 4 trips since opening day and all the problems in the begining and with things getting tweaked and solved progressively as we return for each trip.
I now feel the only thing I really don't like about TTR 2.0 is the Sexy Pool.

Every other bugaboo is tolerable or been changed/fixed since August.
But the pool is a big disappointment....and I am not necessarily taking aboit temperature.
Cuz really once initial shock wears off....it's ok.
But logistics and configuration are just horrible.

Some alterations need to happen to the sexy pool and a chorus of voices are needed to convey that to staff.

Not too deep...only about 240cm around the edges...a bit more in the center (lol).
Wear floaties or take Navy Seal training to learn to hold your breath or tread water for 8 hours at a time!

Yes...I am fully aware of that (hence my choice of units with numerical measure...lol).
I would like to be a fly on the wall of that conversation when they say the pool is not that deep...and somebody did the math!
Sorry just my warped sense of humor...or lack there of.
Hey not all 'Mercans are metric system illiterate...especially the rocket scientists.
Well some times there is a mishap with imperical to metric unit conversion and we either miss or crash into Mars!

My take on the sexy pool is that it is too big, too deep, and too cold. I would always want a pool to error on the side of too warm, because that is much easier to control. Just turn the heater off, or add some cold water. Heating takes much longer, and I wonder just how much more money, because I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't want that to be perfect. It's a Cancun vacation destination. Hearing reports of too cold water for 1/3 of the year seems like poor management.

We get plenty of Desire trip reports, what do those people say the water temp is like there in the winter months, I wonder?

Too big? That's not really something they can fix now, but the "premium" side of the pool seems like a shady waste of space.

Too deep? I can't imagine a false floor would be that big of an engineering feat, expensive, or time consuming to install.

We can attest that the Premier side that has cover works well to keep your heads dry in pouring down rain storms. Better yet keeps glasses from getting water spots. Other than that it is also a place to get out of the sun...and area is not restricted...anyone can use it. Well unless that has changed.
