I've been seriously considering leaving my floatie at home for exactly this reason. Makes me think of being at a family resort and somebody's kid is squirting you with one of those pump-action water guns. The last thing I want to do is annoy people, and I just don't see myself sitting on a floatie in the Sexy Pool.
The pool definitely has a heater, as it was toasty around NYE when the air temps were cool. Raise hell about the pool being cold, and maybe they will turn the heater back on.
The new pool is so big, I don't think there is any concern about floaties. Nothing at all like the old pool.
I saw someone mention these in another string, we have one, not planning on bringing it (unless requested) but think this could be extremely interesting given the "climate"?
I don't know how anyone would not be considering bringing it. I know I am I think the thing is that you have to survey the crowd, the space, and what time it is, then determine if you should break it out or not. I don't think bringing it down at 230 prime time is appropriate. But if the pool was 40% full at 5pm, it might be the perfect time to bust it out. The hard part is your drunk brain telling you it's a great idea "NOW" but really is it the best idea for the majority.
