For anyone just getting back, how was the spring break crowd? I would like to go next year in early March but would like it to not be overrun with obnoxious frat boys.
We are at TTR now and it is our 1st time here so I don't know how it usually is, but I am surprised by the number of what appears to be spring break type guys.
Based on past experience- 2014, 2015 and 2016, we have noticed fewer the last week of the month. Don't know how it is elsewhere, but several universities here in Michigan have spring break the first or second week.
We’re planning a trip for March 2018 also, so what’s the surprise? Too many or not as many as you thought. The miss here had a bad encounter on our last trip with one idiot (and thank god it was just that one)so just thinkin, if it’s too many and awkward, we’ll skip. Anybody, please share your thoughts
Yep, I agree with Steve. We tried two trips in March and decided that is a month we will avoid in the future.
We’re headed there march 25-30 for trip 6. We always go the last week of March due to work schedules. Some years it’s been overrun with groups of guys, some years it’s not so bad. Nice thing is we’re headed down with 4 other couples who are TTR vets as well. So even if there are large groups of single guys or even small packs of them, we’ll be able to fend them off lol. Can’t let your guard down though—especially when wife needs to leave the area to go to restroom or something. Don’t let her go alone!
We do the end of March/beginning of April also due to when our son is on spring break. There can be a couple idiots but most college spring breaks are earlier in the month, so we avoid most of them.
Usually it's not bad at all. It's 21+ and they don't allow the spring breakers. No parties there. It's the oasis that has the draw
