First timers too.....

So my husband and I are taking our first all inclusive trip vacation here. We got a Sian Ka’an room. So excited! What can we expect? Food? Entertainment?
I see there are a lot of comments about where it’s allowed to be topless — I hope this isn’t a problem because that’s what I’ve really looked forward to!
Please let me know all the details! What do I bring? Do I need special outfits for theme nights? Are there any activities that can’t be missed?

The resort does not do theme nights. If you can get a group together you can do your own themes.

I had my travel agent checkout the topless rumors as it was abundant last year when we were there. All the rumors say only the VIP pool. However travel agent called and they still allow at all the pools they just don't advertise. In June this will be our second visit. Food is so so, our San Kian was awesome. VIP lounge and concierge was great. Pools and beach are awesome. Our girl on the beach, Bo Dierk, and that is her real name, was awesome. Nite life is far from TTR but it depends on the group you hang with. My wife and I can party and have fun or just stick to ourselves and be happy. I would rate try an TTR 9 and Sens a 7
