was at TTR 4 years ago and looking at booking again within the year and have a few questions. 1. Price. I looked at pricing when they first reopened and it was super high since then it looks to have come down some. For a normal room what’s a week looking like for two. 2. With the upgrades is the food better? Rooms better? 3. Most importantly what’s the crowd and atmosphere? Still the same thing for the most part. Still interested in a fun adult LS friendly resort. Not looking for lame or full LS geared place. 4. Still topless i assume and same relative theme nights. Thanks
These were all pretty easy questions you should be able to find detailed answers and opinions if you read a few trip reports. But I will just give you some base answers below
Thanks I did read a few but wasn’t getting everything. Main concern was cost. There were rumors of 5 grand for the week, which place is cool but not 5 grand cool for 7 days. Plus flights and fun money. Also went to GP last year while TTR was closed while it was nice it didn’t quite cut it. And just wanted to make sure TTR stayed relatively the same in the atmosphere department. If it didn’t and was more like GP we would probably just opt for a cruise or search for a different resort
Was looking at the basic room for a week and was seeing in the low 2k range. Which will very by week I guess.
Food still the same. Buffet with a few restaruants to choose from. Last time we found the food to be really for the most part average. But the overall atmosphere made up for it
If I do some looking into a package with air it is like 100-250 more per person for a week then it previously was. Seems to make sense with that raise in relation to the new resort, and the fact that nothing costs the same today as it did yesterday.
We booked 6 days in a Bash Tower room (wanted access to the rooftop pool) in May with Air from Toronto for under $3K. We shopped around on five or six sites and the differences were huge. I think it was Travelocity that we went with but have to check.
It was Travelocity. Aeromexico is the airline with a connection (not ideal) but the times work because we get in at 8am first day so we will get a full sun day on the first day. Just have to leave Toronto at 1am!!
