Hey all! We are considering our second trip to TTR for early to mid September. Anyone have any feedback on weather? We are aware this is prime hurricane season so we're a tiny bit concerned about constant rain.
Being Canadian we will make the most out of any party but would really appreciate some fun in the sun.
    Thoughts? Feedback?

I've been over Labour Day weekend and there was very very little rain (the typical Cancun light shower in the middle of the day for 10 minutes). It IS hot then, but not unbearable...you have to stay in the pool. The hurricane thing is another issue. Buy travel insurance and think positive!

It's REALLY humid and hot, and you will always run the threat of a hurricane. We've been twice around that time, Late Aug and Mid Sept. Had some rain, but it passes quickly. Recommend trip insurance against hurricane.

We have been in mid September twice. (Wrecking Balls and the same week after the reopening) Yes, it is hurricane season, but even then, I have heard statistics that the odds of your vacation being impacted by a hurricane are less than 5%. What's more likely are waves of storms that come through and then leave quickly.

If I remember correctly (and there's a fair chance that I can't!) There was a heavy storm that hit early in the evening prior to the big final party, but by party time, it had cleared out and we had probably the most epic party of the decade.

Regardless, it's the most fun place to be in any weather!

We were there the last week in January and the rain didn't stop us from enjoying a thing. It would just be nice to have it a little warmer and maybe one day that I don't have to dance in the rain.

Our first trip was mid last September for 12 days. No doubt it was hot and humid. Hurricane Irma passed to the east of us and worked it's way up into Florida. Even with it's passing we had blue skies and soft breezes. The humidity was up there to the point where we felt it day and night ( thanks for the great AC in the room and the lobby) and we're from Hawaii. The weather made the Sexy Pool all that more inviting which was one of the highlights of our trip. To see how the weather difference could be we booked again four months later in February and the weather was blue skies warm and "0" uncomfortable humidity. We found the weather to not really be a factor for us. The fun at TTR with the staff and other people we met over rides any weather!! Sooo booked again for to be there for this years Halloween Party, hope this helps, Gary and Helen.

We go every September & rain or shine, the party never stops. If it does rain, it's a quick shower & quickly moves out. Last year, we were there right after Hurricane Harvey & during Hurricane Irma and it did rain for a bit 1 day but damn, it seemed to bring the party up about 20 notches, it was great! Had some wind but hell, we're from West Texas, we're used to wind. I say book that September trip. We're booked 9/15-9/22, so if you're there during that time then we'll see ya at the sexy pool :) ~Steph~
