I started Intermittent Fasting on Jan 1st and I have found it to be a great way to control hunger and caloric intake.

Plus, if you workout, start doing cardio while in a fasted state and you will see the pounds fly off. I have really been impressed with how quickly it works and how good you feel.

I'm not a big guy but wanted to lose some annoying belly fat, and I've lost 6 lbs since Jan 1 (doesn't sound like alot, but I'm 6'0, was 186 lbs, now 179 and I lift 5 days a week so that's a significant weight loss for me as it's hard to lose at this point)

Message me if you want any more information, it will make you feel great while losing the weight (holy crap I sound like an advertisement)

There's no magic pill, shake, etc....eat less (especially processed foods, high sugar content stuff, etc.)...and get some moderate exercise. But when it comes down to it, 80-90% of weight loss is because of what we put in our bodies. My wife has lost 100+ pounds over the past few years, just eating a healthy diet and exercise. No shakes or special "named" diets or anything you need to buy from certain sellers.

I started the plant paradox diet and going to some intense boot camp style fitness classes. I've gone from 230 to 208 in three weeks, and still dropping while getting toned. And I feel awesome! When the classes get hard I dig deep for motivation, looking good so the wife gets a little wet when shes see's me in my gold snakeskin speedo is a good motivator for me.

When you're not sleeping or working, have rigorous sex. It's good exercise and difficult to eat while you're at it. More fun than other workouts too!!

I did all the imaginary diet available on the market.
The thing with those diet is as soon as you get off of it and you start eating healthy you gain everything back.
We all want to be at her perfect size for our vacation but what's a perfect body !!
As long as your are feeling good with yourself and you love yourself who cares :)

This is it - people try the fancy special named diets but that doesn't teach them how to eat properly the rest of their life. So once they quit the diet and go back to normal eating habits you're back at square one. You need to change your mindset and how you eat permanently. It can be done, but it's a longer-term, slower process. Start small...cut back on eating out, cut back on extra sugar, processed foods, etc. Make a couple of small changes that you can sustain, then add a few more changes. And you shouldn't have to cut anything completely out of your diet either - for us, nothing is off-limits, we just choose to not eat "bad" stuff as much (except maybe when we're at TTR lol).

Last two posts nailed it. Up the exercise a bit. Lower the sugar. Add protein to compensate (it helps me not get sugar cravings).

Don't try to starve yourself for an X period of time. That's probably a recipe to fail an overall objective.

Find the balance that you can sustain for the rest of your life.

My extra weight just falls off when I do the Ketogenic diet. I'll admit I only do keto when I have an upcoming event (like going topless in public for the first time in my life lol). But doing it has shown me the drastic effects that carbs and sugar have on my body, so when I stop doing keto I do continue to be much more carb and sugar conscious.
