I should have added we have heard some bad things about delays.
In no way do we risk losing any time on our vacas to TTR.
Work too hard to waste vaca time...too precious!

We've flown Spirit a couple of times to Cancun and once to Vegas with no issues at all.

New aircraft chairs don’t recline in economy/coach. Weight savings= fuel savings.

Next Trip: June 2024 at TTR 17-22 then DRM 22-28

I understand that people do different things on vacation, and some might be totally sober at dinner. But I am not, and that shouldn’t mean I can’t go places! Most days I go pretty hard in the sexy pool/top part of the pool bar all day, shower, get dressed nice, and I like to go to dinner where I order and I am served. The buffet and the causal places for me are good for breakfast and lunch, and then I like a later dinner to relax and take my time, before the madness begins again.

Now I don't think you should go to the restaurants completely trashed, but I am defiantly still feeling the effects of my day. I know the tables are pretty close to one another, and there have been several occasions where we are just 2 people trying to enjoy our meal and still have a bit of fun. My wife and I have been sat next to other tables of couples that just sit there in silence, hardly talk to one another, and just look over and worry about us. Now I don't know if they are in a fight with themselves and not having fun, they just got to the resort, just haven't been drinking all day, or maybe they are people that never really go out to eat and are trying to pretend they are being more proper then they actually are. I KNOW I am not over stepping my bounds, I have very good restaurant etiquette, I grew up in the business. I would know if we were too drunk to be there (then it’s buffet time), but some people just seem like they are having no fun at dinner. Like are you really only sitting here just to say you ate at the sit down. Why don't you relax and enjoy yourselves. The tables are pretty small, and sometimes there are lots of plates on them, my wife knocked her water glass over one time, and I thought the table next to us was going to have a heart attack. The staff didn’t care AT ALL! That is normally a pretty good tell If you are being too stupid, if the staff doesn’t seem to like what you are doing, then you should stop. But if they are having fun with you, and encouraging a good time, then other patrons should either join in or mind their own business. Don’t be jealous.

I have never gone to dinner with a group, so hopefully on this next trip we will go out with more people than just my wife and myself, and this way we won’t look so out of place. Like I don't understand who half of the people in the restaurant are sometimes. I just think I never see any of these people during the day.

Hahahaha reading that post from long ago, so much has changed. Actually we have been to several group dinners now, most of which of been extreamly entertaining. We have been a little loud, and it actually hasn't been a problem and no one ever complained. Rounds of tequila shots usually have that effect when there are 4-5 couples together. Last trip we did several dinners with another couple we became friends with, each one basically began with them fighting with me to leave the pool so I could go and get ready to make our time. I really hate having times, but they do have the added benefit of making sure you take a break from drinking to make dinner, and inevitably then make the night. (A few trips ago it wasn't until about night 5 I finally made a dinner)

But yea, we would be more then happy to do dinner or lunch anytime. Breakfast not so much, as I am normally not as much fun as I am post noon. Thank you for the offer Can't wait till May!

Turn the tables on the haters. We had a couple move our things from our loungers which had an umbrella,to one's which didnt. We made it clear to them that we would be dropping things all day. As I was a big guy wearing a thong,that image must have been too much for them! They quickly left! Thongs aren't just swimwear, but motivational tools as well.

This semi tongue-in-cheek thread is only partly serious, but it IS partly... so keep that in mind. Post your most easily memorable Temptation experience with a Fun-Hater, and everyone can comment and/or post their own.

I'll go first, with my own most recent experience with a fellow CCC fun-hatin' member of some reknown who will not be named, but will surely know himself once this is read. Keep in mind, this isn't hatin'... this is only partly so....

OK, my favorite theme night is Men's White Dress Shirt & Heels Night. Nearly everyone who knows anything about me personally or reads my threads knows that, right? Stacia is a smasher in the white dress shirt and her stiletto ass-jackers and I dig it, one button done... or not. Personally, I prefer post-Midnight when the button is long since forgotten and the shirt is barley hanging on around her shoulders... but... that's just me I think.

Anyway, this past trip it's March 1, and we're down at the Quiet Pool/bikini Bar just starting up the night's festivities, and Stacia & Diane are there awaiting our 3rd young lady and her dude. Girls looking great (to me, I get it, even Stacia isn't all into the "look" until she gets her shot Game Face on and the button undone).

I will diverge for a moment. Which impression of a person is the one that sticks with people the most on average? Hmm? Is it the last one? or, is it one of the middle ones?

Shoot no! It's the 1st Impression, right? That's why we have those sayings. "Need to make a good 1st Impression." "1st Impressions are the most important." "It's hard to get over a bad 1st Impression." All that, right?

Well, if that's the case, why would these be the very first, literally the very first five words you'd say to me?

"I don't like that look." As you stand and stare at Stacia & Diane in their shirts and nothing at all else (unless you count spike heels.)? Gee, are you totally just trying to get a fight started? No, not literally, just figuratively.

Anyway, I just put him down as a Fun-Hater and went on. Found out later from the girls that they busted him staring at them all night long... while they continued to wear the look that he didn't care for. Ha!

So, the moral of the story is kids, don't be a Fun-Hater. It's bad for the digestion, complexion, suspension and many other "ions" you can think of. Just have Fun, and do your best to enjoy other people's having Fun, too.

There literally is not enough for everyone, so take yours where you can get it.
