We are finding out first hand how true that statement is. We just got back a couple of weeks ago and are already having withdrawals. Thought we would do a short 5 day stay in April and surprise some friends that will be there (4/15-4/22). Damn you April Addicts for being such loyal repeaters. Everything we have looked at says SOLD OUT except for booking directly with the resort, but too pricey. Maybe next April
Aw, too bad. Would have liked to have met you two...you seem like great fun. Some weekend nights in April sell out as early as mid-January. Gotta take your party planning very seriously if you want to come in April!
I would want to take a picture, you are correct. And... I miss those old Patyo's booth-type step-up into them cabana style bench areas.... Lots of tom-foolery was gotten into there.
Maybe amateur-alcoholics? Meaning, not professionals as most of us who hit TTR happen to be? Too drunk to conceive that someone is speaking words with meaning to them after a certain point in the evening? It happens. You probably took the best way out of that.... it's hard to talk to tree stumps, too.
Thursday, early evening. Had to take a later flight due to real world work things. I'd guess we'll show up in time to grab dinner, get a bit of drunkenness going, clean up and get down to The Sports Bar for the Naughty Schoolgirl 2-year Class Reunion. That starts around 9:00 to 9:15 in there, eh? That work?
I have to say that I am quite jealous of how cheap, quick & easy it is for Texans to pop down to TTR. You guys are so lucky!
You can always move to the great State of Texas too. Weren't born here but got here as soon as we could. Left the miserable East Coast behind hopefully never to return. We have plenty of room. And if you pick the right area it is warm too...we have two seasons...hot and hotter!
From Houston...2 hours going, 2 hours 15 minutes coming back. Also saw today from Houston on Spirit, $160 pp round trip in April.
