We were at the grand opening in October and just wondering if anyone that has been there since knows if the water level has been lowered. The high water level defeats the purpose of a topless pool. Thanks!
They can't.. wear water proof high heels ,, or bring a tall friend,, I ordered some small float swim rings off Ebay just in case
Hey R&B,, November was too deep.. only by the pool bar.. seemed to be ok farther out you got and then the water is shallow for a large area around the "Fun Holes".. so it was a minor issue yes, but not a big deal.. i think it gave the women a little more "Cover" near the bar stools.. but agree it was still a issue.
We were just there last week (trip report coming soon!). I am 5'2" and the water came up to just under my chin, even on tippy-toes. -Mrs C
i am actually quite amazed that in the design phase discussions SOMEONE didn't have the foresight or intelligence to raise their hand and say 'ummm, this deeper pool idea kinda takes away from THE most important thing about our resort'
The "Fun Holes" are the whirlpools at the end of the pool kinda like a non hot tub nice place to sit and talk to others and a good place to practice your whipped cream intake for the day
Probably had something to do with trying to increase the volume of water , so it can absorb all those bodily fluids throughout the day ,, was always disgusting to walk by the old pool at night and see how cloudy and dirty it was ,, then presto , nice and clean in the morning .
