Our room was exactly the same as this one but in the garden on second floor, except for the balcony was open to garden, not the neighbor's deck… kind of weird alright! We found it comfy/cozy, and nice view of the activities across (read soft to plain hardcore activities!!) Who needs to pay for TV channels?! 2 thumbs up for the very open performers!!
You'r right. To me, it already looks dated--very 1980s/Mario Kart Chic. I'm really hoping to like it better in person.
Yes 100%. The thing with that room is there is the one corner (which is what room and balcony is pictured pictured) with it's own balcony that goes to the edge. Then the two rooms that are catercorner share the one giant balcony. If you were somehow able to get all 3 rooms together, you would have a great party spot for a large group. I also like this spot because it is near the sports bar. So you can just duck right up the steps to uses your own bathroom. It would be these 3 rooms right here:
Perfect! Thanks for the awesome pics. We're hosting a room crawl, and trying to figure out space to move things around. IF the bed can be moved, maybe I'll stand the thing up against the wall to free up space!
Hey...I think that is the corner that Mommabear and I asked to get our room in so we could have a big party deck for the Cougar Den in 2013! (we didn't get it )
I don't remember what the room number was, it's been 5 years, and possibly the rooms have been renumbered with the reno. BUT I bet you 5 bucks ScubaSteve, our resident TTR encylopaedia, knows all the room numbers in that corner!
I'm betting that pedestal is not fixed to the floor, making moving it possible! Hoping, as with the cabinet thingy they added to the wall, floor space is almost nil!
Haha love it, "resident encylopaedia". But I actually am going to shock you with this one, I don't remember what the room number was. I have a mental problem with remembering the room numbers. I typically spend the first few days of each trip going to whatever room I was in the previous trip. And on my first trip I spent a few days going to the wrong room all together. It got to the point where I actually made friends with people cause they were letting me know I was knocking on the wrong door. The rooms numbers have switched though, and that second floor around the quiet pool are numbers 8301 -8361. I feel like the room I was in might have been 8316, but I am pulling that # out of my ass and it's probably not even close. I was good at this trip finding it though, even in the construction zone, only because it was on the end and right smack in front of you at the top of the steps.
