A few of us were actually worried about this ahead of our first trip after the remodel (and I assumed I was 100% going to barf of that wonky carpet), and we all pretty that it looks way more dramatic from the posted pictures, than it actually does in real life. Don't get me wrong, it is still bright, but it isn't nearly as intrusive when you are standing in the room as you would think.
I still wonder how quickly it's going to feel "dated" and need a refresh again. They committed so much to this particular style but I wonder how long before it wears off...
I agree with Steve.....I didn't find it that bad in person. The bathroom had a frosted glass door that just swung closed - no latch / door jam.
