I paid $735 pp from Vancouver to Cancun for April. It's since gone up to $950. You gotta really love TTR to go there from Vancouver lol

We live in Minneapolis and our flights to Cancun are always dirt cheap. Then again Cancun in the #1 international destination for Minnesotans so theres lots of flights and competition to keep prices down

Just an FYI from a lesson learned last year. If you book through a travel company other that direct with the hotel, you should confirm directly with the hotel that they have your reservation. We showed up to Hedo with a reservation (confirmation # and everything) made with AMEX travel who use Orbitz/Expedia to book their rooms, and they did not have us booked...Orbitz/Expedia screwed up! It created a HUGE amount of stress and pretty much ruined half of our vacation. We managed to get a room for 2 days at Hedo before being moved to Sandals next door for the remainder, but man what a shitty experience. I now ALWAYS call the hotel directly to make sure they have our reservation.

 

I've heard that about New York also. We are 970 miles from Cancun, so it should be relatively cheap.
