Regular Guest (not Premier) level of access within the resort?

Hello, I'm just wondering what kind of access for regular guests (not premier) to the resort's restaurant and lounge/bar or amenities? Can we make reservation ahead of time so our trip is planned out smoothly and accordingly? Thank you very much in advance

 

The less you plan on the less you pay attention to a clock the less you can be late for = things going smooth,,,,,,
In our last 3 trips think only did the reservation thing 4 times..

There's a running joke on resorts in that if you make your reservations on a regular basis, you aren't really on vacation mode. If you are checking the time, you are definitely doing something wrong lol..

Based on what I have read so far, you have to make restaurant reservations for the same day when you get up in the morning. Also, regular customers have to pay to access the rooftop pool which costs 20 USD each.

Pro Tip: I don't know if this happens at Temptation, but it's usually easy to get a table even if restaurants are fully reserved because so many people forget to show up or show up really late due to a combination of being wasted and not wearing a watch.

 

AMEN! Preach on! It’s funny because it’s true. Truth be told, the ONLY time you’ll need to be on any semblance of the clock is...The Boob Cruise. And of course Sunday morning revival. That’s the only time the chapel is open.

 

We go by the sun....when it is going down it is time to climb out of the pool and go clean up for dinner

 

Thanks all for the tips. I just worry that we would miss out on certain things but you all have some good points. Its still a vacation after all. If we miss it, come back for it lol.

 

BTW, I have search the forum for downtown Cancun but nothing really comes up. Does anyone have experience the downtown yet? We would like to give it a day to explore such as local joints, night clubs and gentlemen club?

 

None of them compare to TTR. After 14 trips, we seldom find a reason to leave the compound except for the Boobs Cruise.

A gentlemen's club versus TTR would be comparable to watching a sporting event versus playing in a sporting event.

 

We don’t like to plan the exact time we arrive at a restaurant. We get there when we get there. $10 has always gotten us a table (once it took $20 at the old TTR Italian on a very busy night). But we will from time to time make a reservation and if it works out great, if not no big deal. They really aren’t sticklers about you getting there at the right time either.

 

lol yeah we would miss our reservations all the time, until we finally buckle down and make sure we make it. But word of advice if you really want to go, later is better. Because as it gets later, your more likely to get out of the pool anyway, so you are in time for your reservations.
