We are staying in the Bashtower shortly.. anyone know if room speakers are provided? I.e. bluetooth speakers or something decent with a line-in. Something other than a glorified clock radio would be nice for getting ready. If not, we’ll just bring a small travel speaker. Any info appreciated. Also, do they have USB outlets for charging devices or just standard plug-ins? Thanks!
Not sure if the tower rooms have different amenities than the garden view we stayed in, but all we had was an ihome clock radio(never used it). Not sure if it is Bluetooth, but did have two USB ports. There was also an outlet next to the bed with a USB port.
The Garden view we stayed in did have the Ihome clock radio as FUN4us stated above, it worked with the Bluetooth just fine.
Good enough for some pre-game motivation or sound like a tin can? Not that I want to annoy my neighbors at all hours. Perhaps get a few to knock on our door and join the party before Bash would be fine however
It's good enough to not bring your own if you are only planning on listening to music in the room, or on the balcony with the door open. The thing to me that makes the difference, making me bring my UE boom, is that sometimes I want music that isn't plugged into the wall. If you are on the patio, and you want to keep the door closed so you can keep the AC on or keep smoke from going into the room, then you aren't going to want to use the room speaker. Also, we have been hanging out at other areas around the resort when the music is over (for example the premier bar after it is closed, we all have 2 drinks, and the sexy pool DJ is done) the portable speaker has come in very handy for this added hour of partying...that is necessary supported by the resort in terms of a DJ playing somewhere. Also, and I know this is sacrilegious to say, I have been in the quiet pool hanging out around the island thing. A small speaker right in the middle there, that's keeping the sounds right in the immediate vicinity is useful.
