So on our first trip to Temptation, Jewel pointed at the yacht and exclaimed, "I want to do that!" Since that moment I have basically not stopped imagining a day out on the yacht with a small group of friends (new and old) enjoying everything the day has to offer. I'm determined to figure out how to make her wish a reality. That's pretty much my duty as a good husband, right? I just checked in with the resort and received very mysterious answers on the availability of the yacht. As a newbie, I'm still trying to piece this whole thing together. Is the yacht for premier only? That's the best I can tell from the response I was given.
@Jamie Vinnie Gotcha. That's what I gathered. I would have thought it would be the perfect opportunity for the customer support person to lead me into the membership details discussion. I suppose we can look into it a little deeper on our next trip but that kinda leaves out the option of an excursion on trip #2. Do you think everyone on board has to be a member or just the one who books the trip?
Hi. I haven't used the yacht yet, but it is part of our membeship. From my understanding only the member getting the yacht has to be a member. When I asked about it , they made it sound like the only cost was to cover the fee for the captain. Hope this helps.
The yacht is $400/trip for most Premier contracts. Another option is to stand by the walkway going towards the dock and figure out who is taking the yacht out and if they have room for a couple more.
That doesn't sound like something I would do normally, but it sounds like a really fun option at TTR. That's a sure fire way to meet some fun people, eh?
Or maybe put a post on here with the dates you are going asking if anyone booked the yacht and has room?
You have it correct. Member books the yacht for either the morning 4 hours or the Afternoon 4 hours, or a whole day one. Afternoon is best. So your best option is to make a post and ask if there is a member going the same time and start a convo on it. PS. You will have a blast it is a great time on the yacht.
Can't get much easier than that. Thanks everyone for the help. Now for the brutally long wait for our next trip...
You have to be a member to reserve the yacht. You do not have be a member as a guest of the member who reserves it. I can tell you this....we've been on 4 yacht trips, and 3 of them with 4-5 other couples, and are in the top 5 best times we've had while at TTR. The crew wait on you hand and foot. The captain makes it clear that the ONLY rule is no moving from bow to stern while the boat is moving. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything else is party time!
