It is way longer than 5 minutes.....when you don't get it. Pain in the ass. Evrybody is gone and the carousel is turned off and you still standing there. see the guy, fill out forms and then start to worry and obsess about what you are missing. Meanwhile an hour has passed and you should've been at the Sexy Pool bar unwinding Wait 2 days for it to be delivered to TTR. Has happened twice to us over the years
Flying direct is the safest way to go , which I,m sure you do ,, how do loose a bag on a direct flight ?
What do y'all do witht he shoes? Just flip-flop it? No problem if so, it's just not Stacia's late-night sexy Jam. Granted, I can fit ALL of her bikini bottoms, if you can actually call them that, in my 20-oz. Bubba Mug, and all of her late-night outfits in one shoe of mine... It's them damn shoes! LOL!
I'm trying to figure out what flip flops to bring and how many. On one post someone mentioned flip flops seem to disappear. What does everyone else do for flip flops?
Flops can "disappear" if you are at the Sexy Pool doing Sexy Pool-ish things... but they in reality don't disappear that often. Usually,... we ... uh... forget to pick them up as we're a bit toasted and WAY distracted with party shenanigans. That's the thing. Where you probably won't forget a complete beach bag, if you don't see the flops, you won't remember to look for them to pick them up sometimes. A way we've handled this is to, after we're done getting into/out of the beach/pool bag, is to turn the flops upside down and put them on Top of the bag where we can't miss them, drunk or not.
One time, on Xmas Day years ago....out of Buffalo with a connection to a different airline it happened. The other time was WestJet direct from TO. Lost luggage can happen at any time BTW...we have done both When it is a big group week and we are staying 7 or more nights we check bags. But if it is a split week (with 2 or more resorts) or just a short window to slip down to Mecca or a quiet slow time period at TTR, and we plan on hitting the Rock bars in the City every night...we carry-on only.
Almost got everything in our carry ons this go around, but like so many others those damn shoes wouldn't fit. Luckily that is all that is in the checked bag so if they get lost for a couple of days it wont matter too much. I will miss my blow up bananas though. :-(
yup I still manage to take about 4 pairs of shoes and couple pairs of flip flops! "Clothes" doesn't take up hardly any room!
