That is exactly what we told them at premier member closing (contract closing person). We asked what happended to all the memberships you sold for cabo and then left them hi and dry??? They told us its on the radar after DR. So we told them we think Cabo is a better and safer bet from the USA and canadian west population..
We could consider a petition of some sort to get Cabo on the Radar.. we would not be surprised if TTR DR is not actually happening.. We loved Cabo TTR better than anything weve experienced in Cancun, even the new TTR. It was that good.
Well, for my own purely selfish reasons (flights are shorter and cheaper to Cabo), I would def support resurrecting Cabo TTR. Would be an easier trip for all the Alberta people too (who always seem to be 10% of the TTR Cancun population at any given time). DR is a long way from the West Coast...I can't see me choosing to go there when there is a perfectly good new TTR in Cancun. It seems to me that DR and Cancun would be serving the same market, unless TTR is specifically wanting to draw the South American market. I like the fact that I would have so many more choices of time of year to go weather-wise in Cabo, as my father says to me: "you operate in a very narrow band of temperature" The massive roof top hot tub and bar was epic. I bet you could get 100 people in there. and it was open til late...the resort actually had some of the night time parties up there. The resort itself was a little too small for my taste (not enough restaurant choices), and the pool was also quite small, but it had a nice beach area and was huge fun. Because TTR people tend to stay on the resort the whole trip, they could build it between the two major cities and presumably get the land cheaper than in the resort areas grouped around each city. I will stir the pot at the premier pitch I have to attend in April (I am staying on referral this time).
We would love to see TTR Cabo resurrected. Cabo is a much faster and cheaper flight for those of us on the west coast and northwest (Seattle).
We loved TTR Cabo it was where we first got hooked on TTR in 2009. Plus we live in San Francisco it was an easy flight for us. Much smaller resort but that was also part of the charm of the place after a few days you knew everyone. Fingers crossed TTR Cabo makes a come back!
We're also from Vancouver and our first two trips were to Temtpation Cabo, and then Desire. It was perfect. We had no Desire to go all the way to Cancun. We've actually drove to Cabo a few times and stopped there on one of the road trips.
