April Addicts - Chinos Cause for Cancer Challenge - Making Dreams Come True

People are coming up with some great ideas during the month of April to raise $$$ for Chinos Cause for Cancer while they are there. So don't forget during the month of April there is up to a $3000 total match. Sally and Ricky arrive April 8th so anyone there during that time who want to donate make sure to look them up or go on the April 10th Room Crawl and find the $$ donation jar in their room. If someone arriving the first week wants to get something going, that would be wonderful. Just start posting about it to get the word out.
Let's make it a mission to raise a minimum of $6000 for the kids in April. We April Addicts can become the Dream Makers for Dream # 5.

 

I will be making custom his & her blinged up bubba mugs to either raffle off or on-line auction to add to the total. I will post pictures of them and start a new thread once I get them made.

Oh come on Karen, Craig is a man of many talents No doubt in my mind he will come up with something amazing!!! The man does not disappoint. We all know it and love all he does.

 

Agree absolutely, Carol. Craig never ceases to amaze me. BUT he does poke fun at me at every oppportunity, so I have to take a swipe at HIM occasionally!

 

Glue guns and beer are a dangerous mix!! That effing glue is really hot and sticky! LOL

The money is primarily spent on Dream trips, but also is used to support Aitana House needs, hospital medications, and funeral expenses.

Waahhh...I want a tax credit, too! We Canadians pay way more tax than Americans to begin with.

 

We are in the process at looking at the tax laws in Canada. Someone else has asked this question. You should be able to make a certain percentage donation to international charities as long as the charity is recognized by the IRS.....which Aitana-North American Children's Association is! I just don't know how much would be recognized. We named it "North American" with the intention to file the charity in Canada as well.......It just takes time. We have been working on the US branch for 8 months. XOXOXOX Dawn
