Trying to book a photographer

I know, I know--this topic gets brought up a lot, but we've got some specific questions that hopefully you guys can answer. We are wondering if the policies have changed since the re-opening.
1.) Are guests at Temptation allowed to bring in a photographer to do couples shoots in their room and elsewhere on the property? If so, what type of permission do we need to get from the hotel?
2.) I've read posts from others who say they've arranged to meet photographers off the Temptations property, down the beach, where they had their shoots done. Has anyone here tried this? Was the shoot private enough to make you feel comfortable? How did you change clothes? Which photographer did you use?
3.) Once you've had the photos taken, when and where do you go over the images with the photographer? Is this when you pay him/her for their work?
4.) Has anyone used a photographer named Tony Loeza with Royal Photo Cancun? If so, where did he shoot for you (on the property or off)? What was your experience like?

Again, sorry if we've covered this ground before--we're just trying to be smart about all of this and CCC has been an enormous help with everything else up to this points. Thanks a million.

We just got back and had photos taken. We used the on-site photographer last year and really liked him and his work - he was amazing and the photos are hot, hot, hot. However, there is a different company for the on-site photog this year. In either case, the session is free and you pay for the photos you order with no minimum. We reached out to the guy from last year and to get him on the property, we would need to either (1) get him a day pass or (2) simply add him as the third to our room for the day/night in order for him to come onto the property - option (2) is actually cheaper. He was going to charge much less for the price of each photo over the on-site guy ($10 per pic versus $18 per pic) but coordinating was difficult with his and our timing. So, we went with the on-site guy, Gibo, from Provoke Photography mostly for convenience. If you sit through the Premier presentation you get a coupon book at the end which has a coupon for 10% off but you have to mention it when you book the photographer or they won't accept it.

The nice part about the on-site company is that they have access to parts of the property others don't. For example, we took photos in SHE Restaurant before it opened (on the stage, using the poles, and on a loveseat), and in the spa wet room area as well as other parts of the spa. He wanted to take me to the Premier lounge overlooking the beach but it was sadly not open at the time. I'm not sure someone coming on-site just for a few hours would have that access. His work was ok but more of a boudoir style and frankly, my partner wanted more raunchy/hardcore photos that included him as well. He did talk to Gibo before the shoot about what we wanted but with the time we had, we never got beyond the boudoir style so it was frustrating. For instance, he has me posing with legs spread but my hands covering my labia and one breast like I was being coy or something. I'm far from coy in real life so it was just not me! He also had me posing with my back arched A LOT which after 2+ hours was pretty painful - and I'm an aerialist as my hobby so I'm pretty flexible, lol. Basically, he was nice and professional but didn't really take the shots we wanted nor did he try to make sure I was comfortable in taking them.

He did come back later in the day to our room to get some shots of me in the body paint that I had done after his shoot with me earlier in the day. Those are my favorite photos of the whole set. One of them is my profile pic.
