Butch and Amy, May 8-14, 6th trip, second since the renovation. Can't wait to make new friends, Lets Play!
Do people go all out for theme nights? Can we dress for the Cancuncare theme nights? What is allowed? Sheer, pasties etc... We have never been and want to go all out but fit in. Thanks
This is what I have witnessed on many of my six trips (and participated in). I've seen men decked out in nothing but a sock on their "hotdog" and ladies in completely sheer outfits or completely nude with body painting. Have no doubts about anything you wear because as the saying goes at TTR, no one knows you, and no one gives a shit. And that's a direct quote at the resort. Its always a hit or miss whether people dress for the Cancuncare theme nights versus the resort theme nights. However we always go in March, so I can't speak for the May crowds. Guess we'll find out though. But don't worry about what you wear or don't wear. We're the least bunch of judgmental people you'll ever meet.
I was wondering where this thread went. But then I realized we became official it got sticky and moved to the top Yeah buddy!!!!
What does this mean? I just looked it up, but couldn't relate an acronym to what the context at Temptation would be. I would say memorial day weekend is pretty much just business as usual. Though a little more crowded because it is a weekend people book to take advantage of the extra Monday off. I did notice though they do have some official plans for that weekend. So maybe it will seem like there is a little more going on.
Based on a friend that lives there, hotel will be normal but the hotel zone and club area around where they are holding the events may be a little crowded. Been the third week in May for many years and never noticed anything. 99 days and counting
You can definitely go all out. Sheer and pasties are perfect. If you want to "fit in" stick with the resort themes rather than the cancuncare themes. That's what the majority of the guests do in our experience.
