Well said! Yes, Darwin (Natural Selection) usually shows up where alcohol is involved. I personally call it the "bicycle helmet law" since I grew up before it was "illegal" to ride a bike as a kid WITHOUT a helmet....now we have a bunch of "kids" that never learned that a tree or cement wall will always win against an 8 year old on a 10 speed and they go on to get drivers licenses.....
bahahahaha, too true.......... and don't forget the adults in parking lots with smarts enough to walk in front of 3 tonnes of glass and steel rolling in their general direction (cars) without looking. Because, well, "the other guy is supposed to watch out for me!" then teach it to their kids too. Uh-huh, now that's intelligent. Personally, I blame Raffi lmao............. "cross the road slowly"?!?!? I know! Let's stay in the path of death as long as we can! Safety first!!!
You have our votes as well. Can we also vote for the large jacuzzi to stay heated longer as well. Say maybe until 2 or 3 am.....
Uhm.. we are only arriving for our first visit on the 24th so no expert on this but isn’t there this little body of water (aka as the Gulf of Mexico) just past the beach for said individuals to randomly drown themselves in? Surely the pool being open later is a safer idea? Agreed some overnight maintenance is required at some point but closing at 7 does seem a little ridiculous.
I don't know how safe the water is at night. We have been told politely to get out of the water at night. I am not sure if crocodiles are out at night or not but I don't want to find out.
Maybe keeping the rooftop pool open would be better than the quiet pool? The rooftop one is long and skinny, which will discourage drunks from diving, and it would be easier for everyone in the pool to watch out that others are not sinking. That would also keep the quiet pool rooms quiet for those people who book them specifically for that reason. Plus the stripper poles are at the rooftop pool.
I love your way of thinking... especially since we’re staying in the Bash Tower. Not sure how they’d get around the $20 access fee however.
Good to know - wasn’t sure if people went for moonlit skinny dips. Large reptiles would definitely put a downer on that!
