I was referring to the dumb American that spills their own hot coffee on themselves and then blames the restaurant for serving them, god forbid, HOT coffee and then won a civil judgement of $2,860,000 !!! Award was reduced to $640,000. Alas, another liberal jury story: a burglar falls through a skylight and is severely injured. He wins $260,000, plus $1,200 per month for life. Do you understand yet ?? The people I were referring to were the criminals and everyday morons that feel entitled to benefits from their own lawlessness or stupidity. Hmmmm ..... like when you call for police assistance and they take hours to respond or require you to pay them for service or pay a bribe to get out of trouble ?? Now I know it isn’t 100% like that everywhere or every officer or every incident and that even in America, Canada & Europe (the countries I mentioned earlier) there are bad apples. But, back to my original post, that so offended you, that I believe offended you because you misread it. I stand by my statement “good luck winning a lawsuit against a hotel in a 3rd world country”.
Maybe not all night because they do have to clean it and shock the water and stuff. But at least until midnight or 1am or something! Even 10pm would be better. 7 is just kinda goofy for a party fun hotel for grown-ups in our opinion.
I think "natural selection" is the nutshell version of what the above was getting at? I hear Temptation used to have the pool opened all the time, or maybe just didn't enforce a closure rule? But how many times did somebody actually drown over night in all those years? Either way, trying to protect a rare few from "has never happened" incidents and/or the possible shitty outcomes of one's own bad decisions at the expense of the masses never goes over well.
