That's a good story, I've had my run in with Mexican police living in south Texas. Usually cost a few bucks but ends in a handshake and a smile. Back when it was safe to cross the border we even bargained the "tip" or fine down a bit.

 

We have good friends from mizzou that we met there at TTR

 

Any recommendations on golf cart rental, I see some of them are already pre-booked up to March 7 th

 

Hey all, long time visitor to Isla. Will be there 8 days in May then to TTR. Policia are getting bad at stopping the carts now. Even if the passengers are drinking while on the cart, THEY WILL STOP YOU!! Jrpedro got lucky. Do the bar hops, but please do not have open containers in the cart. Yeah it sucks now. Use to be you could have a open container in the cart.

 

We just booked the day of through the ferry company where you buy tickets for the ferry. When you get to the cart rental place they are turning walk ups away but we got a receipt from the ferry company from our departure location, walked up, gave them the receipt, and they gave us a cart. I think most of them are reserved by the ferry company.

 

guess we can't do this anymore!!

 

We might be up for that guys! With another couple we've been chatting with that's also mentioned that day trip

 

Sounds like we should reserve a couple of carts and make it one hell of a bar hop
