I've read a lot about people getting and offering shots as a way to meet people. I'm confused are people bringing alcohol, buying shots, or just ordering a bunch of shots that are free then passing them out? Also, I read you can ask for better liqueur in mixed drinks do they just do this or is there an up charge? Just trying to lean the ropes.
Many just order shots from the bar and pass them out as an ice breaker. Some people go to Walmart to buy their favorite alcohol if the resort doesn't carry it. The better liquor in mixers really depends on the bartender. Some do, some don't. Sometimes nicer tips for bartenders assists in getting the preferred alcohol.
