I (we) have been able to get away with most anything at TTR. Common Sense, discretion are key. You can have as much fun as you wish at TTR. Plus, if it gets that heated..your room is a short walk away!
You could NOT BE MORE WRONG!!! Temptation is a very Liberating place they encourage sexy dress and adult fun... can you have sex in public NO but I don't think that was their question can you make out in the hot tub YES and you can kiss others too! just don't whip your junk out in the hot tub and your good!!
Hey now, let's try to keep the discussion calm, no need to raise voices just because OP had a different experience. I have never been to Temptation but based on my reading, his answer is an honest one. Look, on our last visit to Hedo, on our last night, there were about 12 couples having a blow job contest around the nude hot tub with the winner being the first guy to orgasm. It really doesn't sound like this is going to be happening at Temptation so his answer isn't wrong, it's just what he experienced as a swinger who was possibly looking for a more open environment like Hedo. I for one, appreciate the candid info he provided since I'm bringing my first time gf and know for sure she will love the more tame atmosphere at Temptation compared to Hedo. My .02 watts...
Perhaps you should re-read the original post. Do you think they are really concerned with whether they can make out in the open? You can do that practically everywhere you may want to visit in the world. Do you know what the definition of "soft swap" is? It is not typically just snuggling, cuddling, holding hands. My point is, they asked about PUBLIC display. EXHIBITION. Not the high school dance type where you are told to stop by the principle. Simply stating that if you think you are going to saunter down to the pool and put your toes in the water at 11 a.m. and get a blowjob while a big group of people cheer you on, it won't fly. Nor are you going to lay in a lounge chair with you hand in your partners bathing suit bottom, manually stimulating them while others casually read a book nearby. Having sex with your curtains open isn't public display, you're still in a private room. Fondling someone under a huge pile of foam isn't public display. And again, I was giving opinion to the original poster. I am not telling you to not feel liberated at TTR, or anyone else for that matter. However, there are people that go to TTR that probably believe it is the craziest, hardcore, most mind blowing shit they have ever seen. If you have been to Hedo, Caliente in Tampa, or on a swinger cruise where people routinely bend over and spread their ass to show you the diamond butt plug they have lodged in there then TTR will not shock you and you may not find it as exciting. Again, opinion only to help someone investigating the resort out. It is one of millions of opinions, and they will have to take many into consideration to make an informed decision before spending thousands of hard earned dollars.
I have been in the lifestyle for 15 years I am well aware of the terms and as you did I stated my opinion! I am perfectly Calm! just passionate about it! (caps don't always mean yelling) but speaking from someone who Has been to Temptation, I am protective of the resort it is like a second home to me... so when I see someone telling others to go somewhere else it bothers me.
We enjoy the resort as well, but I will not encourage someone to spend thousands of dollars to go if it doesn't appear that is what they are looking for. Not only is it an injustice to them, it could be potentially to other guests as well when there are a bunch of disappointed sour pusses running around everywhere that got bad info and had higher expectations of what they were going to get into. It isn't a sports team that you cheer for based on loyalty even if they don't win. TTR will have plenty of patrons even if you give people an honest review of how things work, and what to expect. Making out in the hot tub isn't the same as "heavy PDA" or "exhibitionism" in the least. It's like trying to talk someone into a Prius that is in the market for a Hummer. No pun intended. I won't try to sell anyone on something just because I like it, if I don't believe it benefits anyone.
Probably all should just let this marinate a bit, and maybe the OP will come back to the post and reply if their specific question was answered. I read it originally thinking they were just thinking about the norm that is allowed using terms like "heavy PDA", but as tgsjcj pointed out, maybe they were talking about the next level up that isn't actually allowed in public, and maybe 50% of the guests aren't really even into.
We always viewed the pool and other public areas as a place to meet, flirt , and some light touching if you find a connection ! we've never been told this wasn't ok ! Once is was getting too much fun we took the action to our room!
I'm more of a dry rub fan, but if a marinade is the recipe it takes to put this thread back on track, I'm all for it
