JJ announced Lalo was leaving when I was there in November. They had him join the Ent staff during the beer chugging contest against the guests. JJ kept putting him up every couple of rounds so he got hammered.

    Love it!
So Lalo went out in style!
And great move by J J......which is why he is so good.

Well that's a sad thing to hear about him leaving. Really does seem super strange that a person with his personality ending up with issues. Really was an easy going care free guy. Basically "The dude"-like.

Glad he was able to help you out in that pinch though. Maybe it was all fate!

Haha I was there for that, but didn't realize that's why he was chugging. Ya, he was pretty drunk after.

If you were there for it, then we must've just gone home and we missed it by a day or 2.
Too bad...I would've liked to have seen that.

Go to the beach, take right, enjoy an nice 1/4 mile walk on the sand until the beach ends, and take a picture with the pirate ships in the back ground.

I waited to do the Pirate dinner cruise until last summer when we went with our 5.5 year old son. Elyse was begging to do it for years on our trips, but I said just wait. It was actually awesome. One hell of a production. The dinner itself isn't all that special, and they try to get your to upgrade everything (which isn't really worth it). I highly recommend, but it is like $120+ a person all said and done with transportation.

I think Elyse had just as much, if not more, fun than the kid. My understanding is that there is an all adult cruise that runs one day a week (I think Thursday), And that's what I would recommend booking. You can setup up the whole thing on here, even with transportation. (just message Steve if you need help setting any of that up)

I'm not sure if you are just looking for Scenic, safe photo spots, or if you are looking for cool excursions, but there are so many fun things to do in the area if you are willing to spend a whole day off the resort.

You can rent a car for the day, and have it take you down to the ruins in Tulum in the morning, then spend the afternoon on the beach in Akumal swimming with sea turtles. Or, you can get a cab to take you 45 minutes down the road to Playa del Carmen which has awesome shopping, restaurants, Beach, and entertainment. Or, you can go about an hour to either Xel Ha Park, Xcaret park, or Xplor Park. My personal favorite is Xcaret because it has a huge variety of things to see and do.

However, these are all things that we do when we come to Mexico with our family. When we come to Temptation we do spend most of our time on the resort grounds. But, everyone is right that you can easily get vanilla pictures if you go to the beach, or walk down to the pirate ships, or just find quiet places on the grounds and take pictures in the restaurants.
