Yep, Hibachi is the only one you need to reserve as a group, but you can reserve more than a day in advance (up to 3 days I think). Keep in mind that only 8-10 people would really fit along the one side of the hibachi anyways, and that you sit all in a row around it, so it's not great for being social in a group as you can only really talk to the people next to you with all the noise going on. Otherwise, if you want a big group (6+) for any restaurant, you should go early and expect to wait a bit. The hosts will not accept tips to seat you faster (they wouldn't even accept a tip for going out of their way to rearrange a bunch of tables for my group of 12 once). And yes they will ask for everyone's room numbers, but it's ok if you only have a couple and fill in the rest when everyone arrives.
Not great. Honestly, the show is better than the food, so I've been telling people just to get a good seat in Sutra with a view of the Hibachi, so you can still order off the main menu.
Great info from the vets. Thanks for sharing - hopefully others benefit from reading this. Much appreciated.
Thanks for all your fantastic tips on restaurant logistics and food choices, Elle! I feel overwhelmed and I haven't even gotten there yet...there were only a few choices at the old TTR! I think I need an Excel spreadsheet...
Haha there are way more choices and the food is a lot better overall. We were there a full 2 weeks and still felt we weren't sick of the food and had more we wanted try!
